Nawal Kishore's artistic journey began with his education, earning a BFA in painting in 2000 followed by an MFA in 2004 from the Lucknow College of Arts & Crafts, Uttar Pradesh, supplemented by an Art Appreciation course at the State Museum, Lucknow, in 1999. He furthered his artistic pursuits with a research grant from the Lalit Kala Academi, New Delhi, where he worked at the Garhl art studio from 2001 to 2002. Over the years, Nawal has showcased his talent through 27 solo exhibitions both within India and internationally, alongside participating in numerous group exhibitions hosted by esteemed institutions such as the State Lalit Kala Academi in Lucknow, Lalit Kala Academi in New Delhi, and various other locations including Gurgaon, Noida, Allahabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Mumbai, Singapore, Dubai, and the United States. Notably, his artworks have even graced the halls of the President House in New Delhi. Nawal's contributions to the art world were also recognized through his participation in auctions, notably at Art Bangalore in 2012 and the Christel House charity event in Bangalore in the same year. Currently based in Delhi, Nawal Kishore continues to enrich the art scene with his creativity and dedication to his craft.
