Salony Garg, born in 1992, is a prominent contemporary painter from India. Initially, at the age of 25, she embarked on a career as a cartoonist and graphic designer in her homeland. However, her passion for fine art was ignited during casual painting sessions with friends, prompting her to transition professionally into the realm of fine art. In 2019, with a desire to refine her representational style, Salony embarked on a journey to study classical techniques, seeking to bolster her artistic foundation. She pursued studies at the Samsara Academy of Art and is currently enrolled at the Barcelona Academy of Art. Notably, Salony was honored as the first recipient of the Teaching Assistant scholarship at the Samsara Academy of Art, underscoring her dedication and talent. Recently, her artwork garnered recognition when it was selected for exhibition at the prestigious Art Society of India juried competition, highlighting her emerging prominence in the art world.
